King to Deliver Speech at UN General Assembly Today

Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II will deliver a speech today, Tuesday, during the opening session of the meetings of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, in the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.

His Majesty the King’s speech will be the third among the official speeches.

Over the years, His Majesty the King’s speeches before the United Nations General Assembly have revealed an approach that does not merely describe crises and diagnose their repercussions, but rather presents the international community with clear pathways to address them, based on a Jordanian vision that views peace, security, and stability as a shared responsibility that cannot be achieved by managing or postponing crises, but rather by addressing their root causes and developing viable political, legal, and humanitarian solutions.

His Majesty the King had held numerous bilateral meetings with friendly and brotherly countries on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss the situation in the region.
